This house at that location is just a little paradise. The access via a pretty steep and narrow road is a little challenging - it is therefore good, to rent a car, which is not too big. The location directly at the Rio Caldo is great, you can go swimming every day - even in October. the furnishing shows a lot of taste of the owner Miguel - he is btw very friendly and super pragmatic - we loved the stay in his house a lot and are already discussing to come back.

Location is simply outstanding, very quiet. The house made of stone, so it is pleasantly cool inside even in a hot day. You got direct and private access to the river thus the air is fresh.The interior is top notch and decorations are authentic. Amenities are modern enough. There is an outside fireplace for cooking and a separate stone oven for pizza and such.

Amazing location with direct access to the river Caldo and short drive to the public beach of Alqueirão that has several amenities. The property is gorgeous and very comfortable for 6 people. The hosts were great and always contactable. The final access to the property is through a steep narrow road, takes some skill at first but once used to it it's OK. We spent most days just down on the river next to the house as it felt like a private beach.
