We had a very pleasant stay and will keep nice memories from it. The owner, although not speaking English, is very kind, smiling, open, and warm-hearted. As hikers, the little climb to reach the house didn’t bother us at all - on the contrary, it was great to stay a bit away from the center and enjoy the view of the mountains and town from above. The room was clean (a bit old fashioned, but it's not a problem). Despite the exceptional summer heatwave, the temperature inside was comfortably cool at least in the afternoon. The shared bathroom was comfortable, with a large, very good shower. After days of hiking, we could relax either on the balcony in front of the room or on the lovely terrace, listening to the gentle sound of a nearby stream. Overall, a homely and lovely experience for someone who's not looking for luxurious conditions.

The owner is very kind and always smiling. Great location, with easy access to the hiking trails. It's a simple accommodation but for me it's very cozy and the bed is comfortable. I hiked alone in the area for a couple of days, met basically no one, but felt safe all the time. Locals help when you ask, so don't be shy and enjoy the great nature of Geres :)

The lady who is the owner is lovely. She's very open and helpful. I was expecting a greater language barrier, but she did her best to understand. You also can not beat the price in the area.
