The villa was beautiful, and the views stunning. Bedrooms were a good size all with separate bathrooms. The host was very accommodating, providing us with many recommendations and fixed any issues very promptly!

We had an incredible week at the villa with a group of 8 friends plus 1 baby. Teo and Christina our hosts were extremely helpful both before and during our trip, doing everything to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay - we were even treated to local olive oil and a traditional Greek meal during our visit including a delicious moussaka. The villa itself is beautiful inside and out in a stunning location - we spent a lot of time just relaxing by the pool or under the pergola enjoying the views. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. There was an additional midweek cleaning visit for the house and the pool which we were not expecting but which was much appreciated. In terms of location the villa is a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Gerani village where there are some lovely cafes and restaurants (we particularly loved Staras), and is only a short drive from Rethymno which also has some lovely cafes, restaurants and shopping. There is also a small beach a ~10 minute walk from the villa down the hill which is perfect for a quick sea swim, and the beach also has a couple of bars/cafes.

Villa was built in 2022 to a very high standard. 3 of the bedrooms face onto the pool area and are comfortable. One bedroom is part of a separate annex with sitting area, bathroom and small kitchen which was an added surprise. It’s set in large grounds and is very spacious. And as for the views - they are spectacular!! Sea and hillside. Beautiful. Communication with Teo was superb. The villa is 15 mins drive from Rethymno centre and Teo sourced a fabulous mini bus taxi which we used 5 times. Nothing was too much trouble. We drove to various other towns quite a bit and the location of the villa is great for this. Highly recommend !!
