Nevelo Sapphire Villa is the best accomodation I booked in Crete. Built in a peaceful environment (at night, only the crickets can be heard), it is located near Gerani village. The house itself, apart from being beautiful, had everything we needed. The common spaces are large, there is plenty of room to move around and also a lot of comfy sofas and lounging furniture (inside and on the outside patio). It was the beginning of April when we were there (for hikes around the island). The nights are still a little chilly at that time. The villa has AC that works perfectly for heating when needed and blankets. There is hot water at all times. You can order coffee and croissants for breakfast from a nearby coffeeshop at no extra charge, every bed has two pillows to choose from according to the softness you prefer. As a bonus, you can see the sea from the upstairs balcony and enjoy the sky turning shades of pink at sunrise. You should rent a car for easy access to the property but, if you are visiting Crete, a car makes all the difference anyway and the villa has a private parking.

Lovely place, good location, near to the main highway, but not so close to hear the road noise. Close to local amenities. Lovely views, especially from the upper balcony. Everything worked. Really clean and tidy.
