Ellie is one of the best hosts we ever had, will gladly help you with anything you throw at her. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed and the terrace was just magical! The beach is really close, at the date we were there (first half of September)the water was warm enough, it was quite empty, you have public place where you can set up your own umbrella or go to Skala beach bar, where you can get a umbrella and 2 sun beds for a consumption of 10 euro (i think 15 for the fancy wooden sun beds). You have couple of restaurants really close, we recommend the Riva pizzeria with awesome (yet not typical) pizza and really great pasta, Mouragio taverna, El Grecco and ofc The Butchers. Theres also a bakery not too far away. In general the area was not crowded and is best suited for people that want to chill and not suffer loud parties 24/7 :)
