To everyone that knows, Kent the owner provides exceptional service and lodgings. Quirky and eclectic. You climb some fire escape stairs to get to bed. You are given a padlock to keep your door safe and the resident cats will stay with you if you allow them. Location is exceptional.

When I accidentally came across this hotel, I was surprised and immediately felt that I would experience an authentic atmosphere. I'm not an expert, but I would say the interior in room is authentically designed in a 1970s style. Minimalism. The bed, floor lamp, and air conditioner were the only things that were not from that era. I'm quite sure that the ceiling fan and the chair at the desk are originals from that time. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Downstairs, there is an antique shop/exhibition/café where you can also buy postcards. Very cozy. I didn't even mind that the shower and toilet were outside on the second floor.
