Breakfast was excellent and the hostess was very attentive. We had a very welcoming feeling when entering the place. Our room was large and very clean. Definitely won't be the last time staying there!

The location is perfect. If you are visiting the Flanders Expo and it is just a 20 minute walk from the Gent Saint peters train station. The staff is naturally very friendly, the room clean and beautiful with if not the best breakfast. It's also possible to use outside spaces and additional amenities such as drinks and snacks in the foyer.

What an excellent stay at B&B Maaltebrug. The room was big, clean and comfortable, as well as the bathroom (with what seems to be new appliances - lovely shower and bathtub). Petra was very accommodating and welcoming, as well as making a wonderful breakfast. The location is not central but still very well located (the tram stop is only 100m away).

We stayed at B&B Maaltebrug in Ghent this summer for a couple of nights, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, giving us loads of useful information on how to reach the city center, what to visit, restaurant recommendations based on our tastes and budget, public transport, and even how to get to Bruges and other destinations. The breakfast was delicious and high-quality, with many homemade items, and she always prepared exactly what we enjoyed. The B&B itself is spotlessly clean and very well maintained, and the atmosphere is so welcoming—you feel right at home, but wonderfully pampered at the same time. There is on-site parking, which is very convenient. The location is also convenient, not far from the main train station and just a short ride to the city center by public transport, in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We also had the chance to chat with the owner, who is very pleasant, and it was a lovely exchange that made our stay even more memorable. In short: highly recommended for anyone visiting Ghent who wants a warm, welcoming stay with attention to every detail.
