Please note Torre Ducale Dimora Storica is set on the top floor (accessible by lift), the lift reaches the top of the building and the base of a four floor 1400 tower, all studios are then reachable by stairs and have their own independent access.A surcharge of 30 EUR applies for arrivals after check-in hours. All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property.The property is located in a restricted traffic area.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

Eliana, my hostess, was extremely personable and was with me every step of the way, calling, texting and then there on arrival to walk me through use of the numerous keys to access the appartment. For someone travelling alone, I found this very reassuring. The apartment was absolutely charming - very rustic and inkeeping with the era of the building. There were numerous windows with spectacular views over the city and harbour (you could see the big cruise ships when they were docked) and the lights at night were beautiful (the regular pulsing flash of the lighthouse was so special).

This is an apartment in an old tower right near the main square and surrounded by historic buildings. Also right next to the Church which had wonderful interiors. It is full of character and the apartment itself is furnished with colour and in the style of the building. Loved staying there and it is a great location - only 5 mins walk to the closest metro and taxis. It has the old alley ways behind it which leads to the seafront and aquarium which is about a 15 min walk. Would definitely stay there again. The apartment is reachable by lift which takes you up to the 3rd floor - after that which there are 2 small flights of stairs to the apartment which is in the tower. Elena was very helpful and said we could ring her if we needed anything. She took the trouble of showing us around the apartment and making sure we were happy with everything. It was useful to have the kitchen area and we even cooked some pasta while we were there. The kitchen could have done with some chopping knives and possibly another small cooking pan, but otherwise it was great.

Excellent stay at beautifully fitted out apartment in a perfect location overlooking the Piazza del Ducale in the centro storico. Very gracious welcome by the owner Maria Eliana, an artist personally responsible for the extremely considered appointments of the four apartments. The top two apartments have amazing aspects - with views over both the piazza and the porto antico area of Genoa.
