It was great to arrive after a long and delayed journey to find a home cooked meal ready for us and a well stocked kitchen. The villa was great and our host made it clear that, if we had the slightest issue, he would be available to help us

The items left/provided by owner was simply awesome. The villa could have almost been designed with my dream villa in mind! Location excellent. Can't fault anything about it.

We had an amazing holiday - family of 5, 3 generations. We’ve never had such amazing hosts. We were met at the villa with a cooked dinner & stocked-up fridge. The house was fully equipped with everything needed. Again, it was nothing like other places we stayed where only the bare minimum is provided. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were very comfortable. I have back issues and always worry about the beds when we go on holiday but slept really well. We had plenty of towels and also pool towels were provided, which was a bonus. Even dressing gowns! We felt really looked after & that they wanted their guests to be happy. Any questions were answered promptly. We loved all their restaurant recommendations. There was a resident stray cat we called Reggie. My daughter fed it twice a day. He never gave us any bother & kept the other cats away. Cat food was also provided which we stocked up at the end of the week. We had a car & toured the south & centre of the island. We also visited Lindos which had the lovely white alleyways, shops & restaurants, but very touristy. Dinner was therefore expensive & a little disappointing. We preferred being able to walk into Gennadi. It was a quieter village, lots of locals & not a bad meal had in any of the restaurants. Everyone was kind & welcoming. We would highly recommend Nikos & Marias Souvlaki Place in the village (the best gyros & souvlaki we had & amazing mixed grill) & Antonis Taverna (amazing fresh fish you can pick from the display and have cooked as you like) on the beach. Both are a 5-minute walk from the villa. We also enjoyed BBQing on the nights we stayed at the villa. It was incredibly hot so didn’t make it into Rhodes town this visit. The pool by day & air-conditioning by night was our saviour! Unfortunately, we had to go home to a wet & cold England. Would have loved to have stayed longer & hope to come again!
