Zebramanii “Good hotel close to city centre and train station”

The hotel is right next to the main train station with trams and busses also operating in the immediate vicinity. This was ideal for me as I travelled to Geneva by train from the UK and made use of public transport a lot during my stay. The hotel provided a pass for the local trams/buses that made it free during my stay, this was incredibly helpful and saved me money. My room was a studio apartment located at the back of the building and overlooking the nearest platform at the station. The room was spacious with a large bed, table and chairs and a kitchenette. The utensils provided were sufficient for my needs during my stay, especially the fridge, and the coffee machine was also something I appreciated. Generally speaking, the room was clean and tidy but there were a couple of issues. Finally, during my stay, I did speak briefly with a couple of staff members. The guy who handled my check-in seemed friendly and helpful, another man I spoke to the next day on the front desk was also helpful in giving me directions for the tram to CERN, lastly the lady that I assume was cleaning the rooms possibly, greeted me in a friendly manner in passing.

Very good location. Just next to the central station. The hotel staff are all very professional, kind and always ready to help their customers. The cleaning people also very professional and friendly.
