The fine print
Please note that from September until May southwest road access to Geiranger from RV 63 Route may be closed due to the weather. Access is still possible on RV 63 from the north. Please contact the property for more information.The hotel does not accept group bookings. When booking more than 6 rooms, please contact the hotel directly. Bookings of more than 6 rooms, may be cancelled unless confirmed directly with the property.
The hotel is currently expanding, and there is an ongoing building proccess that will finish in October 2023. We therefore kindly inform that there will be some ongoing construction work around the hotel during the summer season. Most of the labour will happen inside the neighbouring building and we believe that this will not be so disturbing for our staying guests. We are working close with the carpenters that the few "noisy" jobs will be done in the middle of the day, between check-out and check-in, when the hotel is as empty as possible, however we have taken this in consideration in terms of room prices until the work is finished. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The hotel staff were excellent. They really went out of their way to help us with all our requests. On the day that we were leaving, which was early in the morning, the manager walked out to the roadside with us to make sure we did not miss our bus. This was our most memorable and wonderful part of our journey in Norway. It's the best hotel in terms of hospitality that I have ever experienced. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast was also excellent. Hope to come back here again soon. Thanks for everything, Grande Fjord.

The hotel staff was very friendly and free upgrade us to a room with the sea view. We like the facilities in the hotel especially the jacuzzi. The hotel also offer the free shuttle between hotel and the town.

Lovely hotel with fantastic views over the fjords (our room has been upgraded) with very helpful staff. Hotel is located 2km outside of the Geiranger but free transport to the town centre is provided for the guests. Amazing breakfast with plenty options to choose from. Free take away coffee/tea available at the reception at any time was a great addition too. There is also outside jacuzzi and lovely newly built bar.
