Location Easy access to the train station Gatteo A Mare and well connected to Ravenna, Bologna and Imola. All amenities were available in the hotel and nearby

The hotel was in a great position. It was right on the beach in the centre of everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The guest lounge was comfortable and airy with an outdoor terrace and balcony overlooking the main Street great for a drink and people watching It had a roomy dining room offering buffet dining, including wine water and soft drinks at dinner. It had a vast choice of food. Soups,pastas mains including meat fish vegetables. Salad bar antipastas cheese bread and dessert. Even their own gelsto counter. The old fashioned all you can eat and drink at 1 price. We'll staffed and run.

We had buffet breakfast included in the price, it was excellent, plenty. It lasted us for the whole day, we only had dinner afterward. Once we tried buffet dinner as well, it was actually the cheapest option for a family of four, it was 19 Euros per person, the cuisine was international, and if we went anywhere else in the area, we paid more than 76 Euros. They offered rosé too, so even alcohol was included and they served a kind of punch too. The rooms had bidets, shutters, and A/C so we had a good night's sleep all the time. There is room service every day, they also clean up, it was nice. Once they noticed that we used the pillow from the extra bed and left us another pillow too. The staff are nice, few of them speak really good English, but once you find your go-to people, you are fine. Mostly Italian families and retirees take their vacations there, we hardly heard other languages. Most vacationers have their dinner in their own hotels, in the area there are lots of bars, cafés and icecream places but fewer restaurants. We could use the pool and jacuzzi at the hotel next door, make sure you ask about that possibility.

The location is incredible and the architecture - all rooms have a sea view. The staff is very friendly, helpful, smiling! The chef is a big master! For a week, they did not repeat a single dish! The beach is very well organised and clean!
