We loved this beautiful house and got a warm welcome by Kurt who was very helpful and nice. We had a wonderful, local and festive meal cooked for us by Neil and his crew - thank you!

The house was fantastic: big and cosy at the same time. We loved the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen was big and well equipped. Dining room and lounges were also very comfortable and beautiful, and the fireplaces created even more atmosphere. The garden was beautiful, too.

Scatwell House exceeds all expectations. It is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect rural location within sumptuous grounds. The house is huge, and felt extremely spacious for our group of 16 friends. All the rooms are uniquely and beautifully decorated with luxurious furnishings and yet it feels like a home from home, where you can relax and unwind, plus you will find everything you could possibly need and more. Communication with the owner, Borja, and the gardener, Kurt, who met us on arrival was brilliant; we were made to feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. We also organised a meal with their recommended caterers Neil and Glenn, which was a wonderful bonus, delicious and generous. Scatwell is set in a beautiful area of the Highlands, where there are plenty of opportunities for activities on your doorstep; we swam in a nearby loch, organised a fly-fishing morning, visited the local distillery, as well as enjoying countless super walks. We hope to come back again soon, missing Scatwell already!
