Honest Review – 13-Night Stay at Senator Gandia Hotel As someone who has designed and built hotels across various parts of the world, I approach hotel stays with a critical yet fair eye. I recently spent 13 nights at the Senator Gandia Hotel, and this review reflects both the positives and the areas that could benefit from improvement. What I liked about the hotel: The location I loved – just a two-minute walk from the main beach, which is around 7km long and impressively wide. The golden sand and vast space give you a real sense of personal freedom, which is increasingly rare. On some days, beach volleyball courts are set up, and there are beach bars playing music into the early evening. On windier days, it was a pleasure to watch some truly skilled kite flyers. The area is very family-friendly and felt safe at all times, including in the evenings. There’s a warm, cheerful atmosphere that’s perfect for couples and families alike. The hotel staff were generally welcoming, and the property still has a clean, modern feel – likely due to its relatively recent construction. My partner and I appreciated this “freshness” and modern contemporary design and feel to the hotel.

The location is excellent, close to the main Gandía beach and very well surrounded. The pool is an absolute must, particularly given the very good bar service they offer alongside. We spent some days during a harsh heatwave in the area, and were very comfortable.
