This is a beautiful, friendly, peaceful place to stay. It is tastefully furnished and immaculately clean. The host is very welcoming, and gave us helpful tips about places to visit locally. Our room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. It's very quiet. The swimming pool is very clean, and both the pool and the outdoor breakfast terrace look out over the vineyards. There is no lunchtime or evening meal available, but there is a restaurant and a winegut within walking distance. There is also a taxi scheme arranged by the local hotels, where the hotels pay the cost of taxis for guests to visit other establishments, so you don't have to drive if you go out for dinner. It's quick and efficient, and the hotels book it for you. The breakfasts are wonderful. There is a great selection of local food, very beautifully presented, with edible flowers decorating it the dishes. I've never given a 10 for all aspects of a stay, but this place certainly deserves full marks.

It feels like an Austrian version of Tuscany, but with even better organized and genuinely warm staff. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast team was incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Although we arrived a bit later than we agreed, they kindly waited for us, offered us wine, and took the time to share stories and experiences. Gamlitz is an absolutely stunning place.

Excellent location on the Weinstraße! Lovely hotel with pool, sauna, well equipped rooms, and fantastic homemade breakfast. The owner was very gracious and provided vegan options for breakfast on short notice. Room was upgraded free of charge and had a terrace. Several buschenschank are nearby and within walking distance, we didn't use the car the whole weekend. A fantastic place to get away and relax!
