The fine print
A valid credit card is required at check-in for additional charges and as a security deposit for the room. Pre-authorization will be processed and released after check-out, depending on your bank’s policies.Planning to visit the spa? We definitely recommend BOOKING IN ADVANCE to avoid disappointment, access is limited to 10 guests at a time in our Thermal Suite to protect the peaceful vibe.
Thermal Suite access is €25 per person (instead of €50 per person).
Our treatments feature Ground, a beautiful Irish wellness brand. Guest favourites include the Himalayan Salt Stone Massage and Jet Lag Recovery Massage, ideal after travelling.
Please note the spa is for guests aged 16 and over.
Open Sunday to Friday from 10am till 6pm and from 8am till 8pm on SaturdayPlease inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

The best thing about The G Hotel was the lovely gentleman called Jack who greeted us and shared where we should explore. He is exceptional and very friendly. A huge asset to this hotel.

Spacious Rooms Hotel has modern vibe 10min drive to the city center travelled many times via public transport and it took us roughly 15mins via bus Hotel is well located in a junction with bus stops right outside the hotel.Free parking is available and many stores around the hotel.had a great stay.

After travelling around the Middle East, the Mediterranean, Asia, and Europe over the past few years, I’ve probably clocked 300+ hotel nights altogether — plus the last 6 months living between hotels around Galway (€50,000+ later 🙈). The G Hotel is still one of the few places here that genuinely feels different. A big part of that is the staff. Dovydas is always warm and welcoming, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed our chats about travel, hotels, hospitality, and the design/history of the hotel itself. Lucia at reception is also consistently lovely, and honestly the whole team here has always been kind and accommodating. My 10/10 goes to room 203 specifically — my favourite room here and better than the others, I think (working air conditioning, window you can open, peaceful bamboo forest view). This stay they also went above and beyond with a junior suite upgrade and complimentary breakfast, which was very appreciated. Still one of my favourite hotel stays in Ireland.
