Parking is available in Hynes Yard, 2 mins walk from the hostel. Hynes Yard is situated on The Dock Road and also Merchants Road with a special discounted rate of discounted rate of EUR 10 per 24 hours with the Kinlay Hostel discount ticket. Please ask at reception prior to check-out to avail of this discount.Please note that guests under 17 years old are not allowed in shared dormitories and must book a private room.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

This hostel is fabulous - partly staffed by people doing a certain number of voluntary hours work in exchange for their free accommodation. It seems like a great model as staff were busily cleaning even on a weekend, hence the place was spotless. Amazing kitchen facilities with heaps of fridges and very good labelling system. Big crates for personal storage. Lovely clean ensuite.

The hostel is quite close to Galway Latin quarter and main attractions and the staff was very kind.

The reception's person was lovely. She made everything to make our stay as good as possible. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also tea towels to dry your dishes. The breakfast is good and you have choice, so really good. You even have fruit, so really appreciable. It's really easy to go out because the hostel in the center. You are also at 10 min of walk from the boarding for the Aran's Islands.
