Big room, had a fridge and a kettel with complimentary tea and coffee. Nice bed. Short walk from city center and close to several stores for food

It is a beautiful old house, but needs a little bit of TLC. The room was comfortable, with a really comfy bed, and the best shower I’ve had anywhere I’ve stayed! Lovely having a fridge in the room, and a table that I could sit to. Jim was a really friendly host, always willing to stop and chat. It is in a great location to get to most places in just a short drive, and great for the university hospital, and university. There’s a Tesco just up the road with a lovely place to eat next door, and a nice pub. We will definitely stay there again if we have to go back to Galway. Thanks, Jim!

The host was very pleasant and friendly and the room was ready when I arrived. The room did have a slight aroma when I in, nothing horrendous but was noticeable on entering the room, once in the room, you don't notice it. The room was clean but it is dated. The shower was ok but the tile work around the sink is missing grouting and the plug looks quite old. However the bathroom was clean. The bed was ok - I had a comfortable nights sleep with nice white sheets, the duvet cover was clean but a dated pattern. The location for me was excellent as just a few houses along from the person I was visiting. It is a basic clean room, nothing fancy - as I expected.

This is a classical house, close to galway centre. Quaint place, ok for a short trip. Managed to walk everywhere including to the train station, and has good onsite parking.

I paid for a single room, it was small but perfectly formed and very clean. Nice comfy bed, bed linen fresh and clean. The room was lovely and warm on such a cold miserable day and good lighting. Bathroom a little cold but often in older houses. The host was very friendly and helpful. Only ten minutes walk to the hospital for my early appointment, and was easy enough to reach the night before on the 401 bus from the bus stop left of the train station road. Very good value for money and will definitely stay again.
