Our host Francesco was our hero. He came with extra sheets and towels for the pull out bed and welcomed us properly. The check-in was easy and fast. His response rate on booking as well as via WhatsApp was super fast, too. Not only did he welcome us nicely, he went beyond and sent us a whole list of restaurants and places he recommends and would even reserve for us to guarantee a good service. Additionally, we got to meet the downstairs ladies (who were friends of Francesco's maybe?) who did not speak English, but German, which came to our benefit as two of us did speak German. They were welcoming and answered all our questions throughout the stay. Finally, the little balconies and high ceilings are a dream. Thank you Francesco, we would definitely come back to stay at your place!

the apartment is very authentic and historically intact: simply furnished but comfortable, with effective air conditioning. the location is outstanding.
