We had a great stay at Princely House Apartment. The host was very kind and helpful — he even suggested the best route for us to reach Negombo smoothly. Every morning, we were served a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay!

The owner was a very polite, cheerful, and kind man who is also an English teacher — he was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location is convenient, fairly close to the beach and local attractions. The bedroom had a perfectly working air conditioner, which made our night very comfortable. There was a separate kitchen where we could also see some awards and personal items that gave a nice touch of character to the place. It had a kettle, tea, and sugar available. Everything was very clean. There was also a separate bathroom. Outside, there was a large drying rack in the sun where we could hang all our wet clothes — and they dried quickly thanks to the sunny side.

The owner is a very Friendly and helpful person. Saw to it that every minute detail was to my satisfaction which contributed to my pleasant stay. The bfast was a tasty home cooked meal well served. The apartment is calm and quiet just enough for a single person or a couple to stay away from the hubble & bubble of city life. There are well stocked grocery stores a few meters away for any urgent purchases.
