Absolutely beautiful hotel - the nicest place we have ever stayed! Stunning property with great facilities, very comfortable room and incredibly friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was spectacular and the iced tea is a must-try - it’s delicious! Location is perfect.

This hotel has real character!! We stayed in the deluxe double room, which was actually labeled ‘The King’s residence’ and meant we effectively had the penthouse suite. Lovely, comfy bed and good amenities with a beautiful stained-glass window. The staff are delightful - their refrain is ‘treat this like your second home’ and their actions exceed this high bar. The breakfast, or Breagustation, was the best of our trip and kept us full for hours. It was a great mix of local foods (egg hopper) and international favorites (French toast). You would be crazy to miss a dip in the plunge pool with their Long Island Iced Tea. Sensational!!

Beautiful accommodation, has a very relaxed vibe. Lovely decore in an amazing old building. Breakfast was superb. Thank you to the wonderful staff you looked after us very well. Special mention to Suranga so helpful and always smiling. One of the best places we stayed in on our 4 week journey of Sri Lanka
