Great value for this fantastic central location, lovely local family who were very helpful and friendly. Large room, air conditioning. I decided to eat there - traditional food, thali style curry which was well priced. Tucked away up a side street. Felt very safe as a solo traveller.

Really great location within Galle Fort. Terrific central location. Really lovely family accommodation. Our room was on the first floor- very spacious bed, great air conditioning and fan. A net surrounded the bed - nothing was going to disturb my sleep! Very clean and comfortable room and wet room en-suite. I highly recommend eating here - breakfast was not included , but could be purchased here. Our hostess is an absolutely amazing chef. She also provides evening meals - traditional Sri Lanka cuisine, we both highly recommend her food. In addition we were very pleased and honoured to undertake Sri Lankan cooking class with the famous Mama Perena .. we went to the fish market, vegetable market & did some spice shopping before creating a delicious Sri Lankan meal. This was a highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Many thanks to mama and our hostess for the wonderful opportunity.

Excellent value for money for the pricey Fort area and a super location. The rooms were in a quiet little alley off the lively Peddlar Street, right in the heart of the Fort. The extended family were most welcoming. The room was clean and spacious with minimal facilities. The bathroom was big and well lit.There was a small balcony overlooking the alley which we didn't use, and a table and chairs outside the room. The aircon and ceiling fan worked well and were necessary as the building got very hot. We ate at the in-house restaurant on our last night and had the best and cheapest meal of our 5 day stay in Galle.
