Megabe Villa in Galle is a great option if you’re after a quiet, comfortable stay with a relaxed, homely feel. Set in a peaceful area, it’s a nice escape from the busier parts of Galle, but still close enough to easily get to Galle Fort and nearby beaches when you want to explore. It gives you that balance of convenience without the noise. The villa itself is clean, well-maintained, and spacious. The rooms are comfortable, and everything is set up in a simple, practical way that makes settling in easy. It’s not overly fancy, but it delivers where it matters—comfort and a calm atmosphere. The hospitality is a real highlight. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, making sure you have what you need while still giving you your own space.

We had the pleasure of staying with a truly wonderful and friendly host who even spoke very good German with us, which made our stay even more special and personal. The room was absolutely incredible — without a doubt one of the cleanest rooms we had during our entire trip. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Our host fulfilled every wish we had and was always helpful and attentive. The garden is absolutely stunning and creates a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We loved it so much that we extended our stay - even after we officially checked out at 12 a.m., he allowed us to spend the whole day by his amazing pool. We swam and relaxed there until the evening, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake behind the property. The ambiance is simply fantastic, calm and stylish, and the location is perfect — you can reach the town quickly and easily. We highly recommend this place to everyone. An absolutely amazing stay!

We loved this hotel. The pool was very relaxing and so were the lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable and the shower very clean.
