It is sometimes difficult if you are travelling without a car to get to places that are surrounded by nature, this hotel on the edge of the town of Fuseta is less than five minutes from the train station and restaurants but also is a beautiful building above the salt flats and water flowing down to the sea. The room was very nice with a stunning view over the salt flats with its abundant wildlife. The breakfast in the lovely dining space was very good value for money and excellently cooked to order. The roof terrace has even better views over the surrounding area.

Absolutely stunning stylish small hotel actually in the Salines/Salt Ponds in Fuseta. Roof terrace gives a great view of the salines and the extensive bird life. You have a key which gives you access to walk out into the salines which are stunning particularly at dawn. A wonderful peaceful place to stay - Best place we stayed in our road trip from Porto to Faro

I absolutely would love to return! Margarida was so helpful in the checkin process - the location is really quite something special as you're right next to the salt pans, so lots of opportunity for bird watching - flamingoes, egrets, etc. You also get access to the salt pans with a special key and it's lovely to go for a walk in the morning. My room had everything I needed - great little bathroom with towels, hairdryer etc. The history of the mill is really interesting and there's lots of information in the visitor guide if you have any questions. There was complimentary water provided and the bed was very comfortable! The view from the balcony was great and I recommend using the rooftop for a great view across the saltpans. I had breakfast at the tapas bar in the morning and really enjoyed it - such a great location. Fuseta is quite a small town, but I got some great recommendations for eating out (Tapas do Nic has wonderful octopus dishes).
