Guests staying at the hostel must be a member of the Deutschen Jugendherbergswerk or the Youth Hostel Association. Membership can be purchased at the accommodation.A one year's membership for German nationals can be purchased at the property for EUR 7 for guests under 27, or EUR 27.5 for guests 27 and older and for families.International guests can purchase a daily membership for EUR 3.50 ( for a maximum 6 nights, which pays for an annual membership).This is an additional policy specific to the property, in addition to the standard policies.

It felt like a family place, staff were nice and happy, attentive, respectful, all went smooth, very close to the train station and for walking around, great nature. First night I shared with other guys, receptionist let me stay in dining area to do my laptop work. Second day the whole room was for me. Breakfast is basic, little better than basic, enough to enjoy.

Given that this is not a hotel, but a Jugendherberge, all conditions are provided accordingly (So, it is okay to make the bed yourself and take out the rubbish) Fresh bedding, delicious breakfast, good staff, location near the train station
