This hotel (if that's the right word) is very special indeed, and certainly not for everyone. Some may find that it lacks some "normal" hotel facilities and that this is not reflected in the price (it's not cheap). Others may fall in love with all the books, music room, absence of TV's, new and original details of this old "Jugendstil" villa, the surrounding garden including hot tub, and the location, which is beautiful - just outside Fusio which is the last village at the end of the Valley of the Maggia. The nature surrounding it is overwhelming. The care and enthusiasm of Michelle completes this.

The location was very secluded and immersed in the green pines. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. The staff was kind and professional.

Elegant and beautiful artdeco villa furnished with vintage design and art. We loved it. The owner is super friendly. The local food is great. Fantastic place!
