We received a very warm welcome and the staff were all very friendly and helpful - the language barrier was never an issue. We were allowed to check in early and were also allowed to leave our bags at the hotel on our final day (after checking out). The apartment was spotless and was also cleaned part way through our week long stay. The extra services such as the bread delivery and use of the sauna (which was free) were excellent, and the breakfast was superb and very good value for money. We also had free use of the lakeside bathing area (including sun-loungers and paddleboards) which was very welcome as the temperatures soared. The location was excellent, right by the lake, which is beautiful, and the views from our balconies were stunning. It was a 10-15 minutes walk into Fuschl and we were also close to the 150 bus route, which takes you to Salzburg in around 40 minutes, and in the opposite direction, to St Gilgen, Strobl and Bad Ischl. Use of the buses and trams was free with the travel pass that we got as part of the tourist tax, which all visitors are obliged to pay.

Friendly welcome. Spacious apartment. Great location including lake beach facilities with paddle boards and kayaks. Dog friendly.

Our apartment had a great view of the lake, from windows and balcony at the front, and a balcony to the rear facing the hills, which allowed a free flow of cooling air during our stay in a heat-wave. The apartment was very spacious and the kitchenette met the majority of our needs very well. Everything in the apartment was to a good specification. The decor, the available kitchen facilities, the shower room and toilet, the bedroom, were all well thought out, to a good quality, and very clean. There was even a safe, which was a nice touch. We also had use of a private beach and its facilities, owned by the apartment owners. That offered a great opportunity to swim in the lake and was only a short walk from the apartment. This was a real bonus!

Superb location, with good views of the lake and the surrounding hillside from the balconies. Parking was fine, check in easy enough. Had two bathrooms for the two bedrooms, which was ideal. Kitchenette had what you needed, although not much surface area.
