Everything ! The place, the room, the outstanding view from both our terrace and the hotel terrace, where we had breakfast and a lot of good, relaxing time, the location, the fresh air, the food in the other (same owner) hotel Fico D’India, absolutely delicious Italian cuisine, and last but not least the staff, mainly the family that owns and runs the 2 hotels - Father Pino, the 2 sons Antonio and Manuel, as well as Michela and Dora from Fico D’India. The all made us feel part of the family !

The view is spectacular, the hosts are great and the rooms are lovely. A very comfortable stay, you’re located up the hill in Furore which is much nicer and quieter than Amalfi. You can get the bus into Amalfi or walk down the steps to Furore and bus from there. There is also a great shuttle bus which is a mini van that costs €3 and comes a few times a day. We found the shuttle to be preferable to the buses and driven by a lovely driver. The restaurants on the hill are lovely too, Luca’s had the best bruschetta we had in Italy.

Best terrace in town, overlooking the beautiful coastline. Having a breakfast or a glass wine on this terrace at the end of the day was the best. The staff were extremely friendly. It's a hiking distance to the Furore (The bus times are a bit awkward, so it was good to have the 45min hike-up option - but be-aware, it's not easy, and have plenty of water).
