Very friendly staff at reception, housekeeping and breakfast. Beautiful rooftop with pool, jacuzzi, seating areas and bar. Great view of the city and very quiet. The hotel was very dark but created a calm and tranquil atmosphere. The hotel provided quality and convenience. Location very convenient and parking.

+ Breakfast was amazing. Slightly different selections every day, freshly squeezed orange juice, bubbly, hot and cold food. + Water cooler machine outside the rooms. + Very central location, Funchal town centre is within walking distance and the hotel itself is in a shopping mall. + Rooms are reasonably priced and spacious. + Staff are polite and attentive. + Toiletries (Castelbel Portus Cale) were very nice.
