The location was amazing, right at the heart of of the oldtown, the staff very nice and helpful, it was very clean, breakfast was good and there was even a bottle of Madeira and local cake waiting in the room, which cannot be expected from an appartementos

Breakfast very good, everything fresh (slices of cheese, 3 kind of slices meat, butter, jams, honey, joghurts, cereal, milk, cooked eggs, tomatoes, mozzarella, salad, fruits, juices, teas, coffee machine with all type of coffees, hot chocolate, 2 types of bread, 4 types of breadrolls). A lady at the mornings cares about breakfast - very clean, quick and nice. Lidia at reception also extremely nice, was making phone calls about my reserved trips etc. I got a towel for our trip just in case of swimming in volcanic pool, we could leave our luggage till collection of airport taxi. All staff was very nice. They cared about us. At the arrival bottle of wine and a cake! :-) Nice surprise. We highly reccommend this place. Location brilliant!!!

Great location used when switching between relaxing in the evening at the capital and hiking / exploring the island in the morning / afternoon. Very clean and very friendly staff. Big rooms! A lot of choice at breakfast. Parking very close to the hotel and not expensive at all. Also the second option when not available at the hotel isnt far en is a little cheaper.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is small, cozy and the rooms look exactly like the photos. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The location is great! A nice surprise was complimentary wine and a welcome cake. Many thanks to Sonia and the rest of the staff, they were wonderful, kind and very helpful, it was a pleasure to meet them. We definitely recommend staying at São Francisco Accommodation! :)
