Lovely clean comfy hotel in a great location short walk to funchal old town, and by the ocean. Staff are amazing. We got an unexpected upgrade and had the best stay.

The design of the hotel is amazing, but still - the room (specifically the bathroom) needs renovation. Doors could be barely closed, and towel hangers- fall apart.

The breakfast was 10/10. The quality of the food and the accommodating staff were amazing. The massage lady knew exactly what she was doing and was very professional.

Loved the vibe. Clean and comfy bedrooms. Great location. Fabulous breakfast. Some staff were friendly and helpful, others not so much but didn't detract from overall experience. Would definitely return.

Comfortable, clean, great gym! Lower rooms close to road, breakfast area a bit of a canteen, pool restaurant superb, good sea swimming, avoid ‘city view room’ it’s an optimistic description they overlook an alleyway rather than the city..

The lighting in your room is somewhat really bad! Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we enjoyed our stay!We also had a massage, and the ladies were great :) All members of the hotel are excellent, and Sergio at the bar was fantastic ;)

Loved our stay there. The room was lovely with nice balcony views, the staff were the nicest and so helpful! A little confusing at first to find the facilities, where is what but overall the saunas were great and a decent breakfast buffet. Little disappointed the pool is not heated so did not get to use it on a cloudy day. Wish the slippers with bathrobes were provided in the rooms and did not have to ask the reception but overall fantastic Hotel. The location also very good and close to restaurant or to the city centre

Good location. Reasonable convenient for town and local excellent restaurants. Very comfortable bed and lots of USB points. The rooms on higher floors would have had lovely views of the ocean.
