As we rented car, it was a perfect location. Easy to get in and out of Funchal to highway, wide and safe underground parking, easy to enter and exit. Corner Balcony overlooks sea and adjacent buildings. Next to building is Forum supermarket with everything from known Clothing stores to a Pingo Doce department store with great selection. A bus stop next to building takes you to Funchal historic centre. Should you not want to wait for bus, call Bolt drivers, fast and cheap. On top of this, there's plenty of official yellow cabs parked and waiting right next to apartment building. Or walk via seaside promenade towards city centre. You can't beat this location. Apartment itself is comfortable for two or two plus kid with spacious living room with sofa and tv, comfy bedroom for two and spacious bathroom.

The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect, we had everything nearby. The host was very kind and nice, he met us to drop off the keys, showed us around the building as there are levels and different entry and exit points, including the parking level. Accessibility and convenience was the best! Forum mall was right across the street, and had everything from the supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, electronics, high street brands etc. The mall closes quite late between 10pm and 11pm which was worked very well for us, as after a whole day out we could go and grab something quick from there. There are many restaurants around the block, and fairly priced. There is a little bakery on the bend, just across the street, perfect for morning breakfast. The apartment had parking which was extremely convenient for us. The area wasn't as busy and crowded compared to the main centre of Funchal. The view from the apartment was amazing, there is a little balcony with seating, and if you get a chance do wake up for that sunrise, it's absolutely beautiful and worth it. At night its really peaceful, we sat at the balcony sipping some wine and could hear the susurration of sea waves. The main motorway/highway was easy to connect to and nearby as well. There is a natural lava pool nearby too, if you get a chance do not miss it. I fell in love with Madeira, and I know if I were to go back, I'd definitely be staying at this apartment again.
