An excellent stay. The room was a comfortable and quiet retreat with a very plush bed. The food was a real highlight, offering an impressive variety of fresh, high-quality options at every meal. The pools were well-maintained and perfect for both relaxation and fun. Best of all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, truly going the extra mile to make our stay memorable. Highly recommended.

The staff was awesome, the food excellent. Rooms with AC and great beds. Everyone was nice and welcoming. They made us forget anything negative.

The hotel was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable and the service is excellent. The restaurants are lovely and have a great variety of food available 24/7. We tried two themed restaurants, the Asian and the Italian. We preferred the Italian over the Asian for the taste and quality of food. Sadly we did not try the Madeiran, we were just too full after indulging on the all inclusive offers the whole week. We enjoyed the pool side and it was lovely to experience that the loungers were not held by guest from morning till closing time at 7pm. So whenever we came to the pool, loungers were available. We enjoyed the entertainment programme in the evenings. There was always something for everyone. The Piano bar made the best drinks and cocktails in the hotel. We celebrated our honeymoon there and the hotel kindly gave us a room on the 10th floor with a huge terrace and sun loungers with a view over the ocean and a bottle of Prosecco :) Thank you team Lido, we had the best time and did not want to leave.
