We have no hesitation in recommending ‘Casa Da Avo Clementina’. A beautiful house lovingly restored & in keeping with remembering Hugo the owners’s Grandmother. Everything you require is available to you & spotlessy clean. Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Funchal with lovely bakery/cafe closeby. On a quiet side street so no issue with any noise during the night. The owner, Hugo, is so accommodating & always available should you be in need of anything. He kindly offers to collect you from the airport & leaves some food & water/wine to help you in settling in. Gives you a lot of information about the area & best ways of travelling etc.. One of the nicest we have stayed in.

What more can I say which hasn't already been mentioned. Hugo was such a gentleman, taking care of us from the very beginning until the moment we left. The house is so wonderful, it has everything, location, cleanliness, all that you need. Hugo made our stay in Funchal very special. Thanks for everything.
