As it was my birthday, they provided us with a complimentary bottle of champagne, the breakfast was quite good, good selection of choice. Room cleaning everyday, even though the sheets were not changed every day, the room was kept in a tidy way. We’ll be coming back, such a nice stay.

Buffet breakfast had enough variety to suit everyone. Good size clean room. Nice sea view from the private balcony. Studio had a kitchen with fridge, stove, cooking utensils, plates, cutlery, microwave and dining table inside. More than enough if you want to cook/eat/drink in. Good size bathroom and very hot water in the shower. Spa area had good showers as well. Have seen same value in 4 star hotels

The room is not as new as it looks in the photo, but the price and comfort ratio is a good option. Good breakfasts, which is very appropriate here. The location is not in the center of Funchal. But 10 minutes near a large supermarket Lido, and the waterfront.

Can honestly say had a fabulous stay at Dorisol Bouganvilia the bedrooms, the breakfast, the view, the facilities x albeit a little bit tired spotlessly clean with daily maid and clean towels when wanted 10 out of 10

Arrived from the airport, and although parking at the property was unavailable, the staff were quick to point us in the right direction. We were able to park at a supermarket on the seafront for €4 for 24 hours, which was just minutes from the hotel. The room was small but perfectly adequate for three adults. We had a sea view, kitchenette and private bathroom. The facilities were clean and ideally located for exploring the area. We also had access to the pool, which was perfect for an early swim. We also required an extra cup as the room only had two, but within minutes, the staff had provided an extra glass, cutlery, and crockery should we need it. The beds were comfortable, with ample pillows. Supermarkets and restaurants are within a short walking distance, as is the seafront, which had some perfect spots for watching the sunset. It is undergoing some renovation works, but this didn't impact our stay at all. It is an ideal spot for anyone wanting a basic yet comfortable base for exploring Funchal.

Very good location, just enough outside of Funchal to escape the big city vibes, but just enough near Funchal for everyday visits. The hotel chain offers a lot of facilities such as pools, gym, etc.
