The fine print
The Mureed is located on Vaavu atoll Fulidhoo, where local tourism is practiced under the government regulations which prohibits guests from wearing bikinis in public areas and are allowed to do so only within the allocated bikini beach's premises. Nevertheless, the guesthouse can arrange excursions to picnic islands and sand banks where these rules do not apply.The property can be reached by a public ferry, speed boat or chartered speedboat. Travel arrangements can be done by the guesthouse, which may be paid to the owner at check-in.Please share your flight details and full names with the property before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer.If your flight lands after 13:00, you will need to take the speedboat transfer or make arrangements to spend the night in Male.Please note that there are no ferry services on Fridays.Advance booking is required for speedboat transfer.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The guesthouse is beautiful and very comfortable, the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food — as well as the beach café — are simply fantastic. We also really enjoyed all the excursions; they were truly special experiences.

Perfect location close to the end of the island. Cafe also beautifully set close to the beach with great atmosphere and outside/beach dining. Friendly and helpful staff is an understatement, they take hospitality to the next level to feel truly like your friends. Helpful in every aspect, and excursions were perfectly oriented to us. Food always tasted delicious. Also rooms were big size and we had enough room on our personal balcony to hang clothes to dry and also in the room was good spacing for our suitcases. Bathroom was also big. Welcome area also charming. Always cold water available for guests to drink.

We stayed at The Mureed as part of our visit to Maldives. We took the all-inclusive meal plan, and the food was very good. My daughter doesn't eat fish and there wasn't a problem to make her alternate meals. When going to the beach, we would request the paddle board, and it would be delivered to us on the beach. The staff took us to feed the stingrays, a wonderful experience. The staff are really great, a special thanks to Maskey, Salmon and Mohammed for the friendly service always received. The bikini beach at Fulidhoo is the BEST beach I have ever seen!

Everything was above and beyond expectations! They organised our speedboat transfers, offered a warm welcome at the jetty, cold towels and welcome drinks plus different trips and activities (sharks, dolphins, turtles, sandbanks, reefs, other islands...). The food was delicious, varied and healthy. Room cleaning and fresh towels on demand. Canoe, paddle board and snorkeling equipment on the house. Maskey, the manager, is doing an amazing job! He is very caring, approachable and seemed like he could accommodate any request/answer any question, really making everyone feel welcome and valued. He even waved good bye for minutes at the jetty when we were departing which made some of us quite emotional... 🙂 I hope we'll return someday... Sincere thanks and congratulations to the whole team, you're smashing it!👏
