“Perfect! Highly recommended”

Marvelous! I so enjoyed chatting with the owner who is intelligent, interesting and open minded. I saw how kind he is with all guests. I thank him for tolerating my lack of Japanese! This was my second visit to the hotel and I returned because I had such a great experience the first time around. So comfortable, the building is beautifully decorated in a classy style. Loved it. Many thanks for all of your help in getting to the train station. Do visit! You’ll love it.

“So comfortable and cosy; feels like home.”

The building has been beautifully renovated, everything is new and plush. I’ve never stayed in such a first class hostel. The sliding doors for privacy by each bed are just great! The owner is lovely and strives to give an excellent service. He let me check in early because I arrived by bicycle (twice in fact). I returned because I liked it so much and felt at home. The place is probably the cleanest hotel in Japan, and that’s saying something. Also, the dining room chairs are so comfortable. Highly recommend.

Spacious pod with comfortable bed, privacy curtain, four electric outlets, two shelves, and a hook for a hanger, all just for you. Shared facilities include free drip-bag coffee, hot water (black and green tea bags would be an excellent addition), a washing machine for only 100 yen detergent, free lockers (a small laundry hanger inside!), two shower rooms with bottled shampoo, rinse and body soap, an extremely clean toilet on each floor, and a lovely big wooden table at the reception area to talk with other guests. Towels are rentable for the generous fee of 100 yen. They also offer rental bikes for a small fee of 200 yen per day. Check-in time can be flexible if you ask in advance. If a simple breakfast like juice, milk, cereal, and toast is included, I would happily pay 5,000 yen per night. There is no cafe or store nearby, but there is a clean little river (creek) and promenade right in front of the guesthouse, so it could be an excellent area to take time and relax in the morning if the guesthouse provides breakfast.
