The room has its charm as it was decorated with the Gion matsuri photos. It's very close to the bus station (around 3 mins walk) and you could reach Hakata station easily. This area is less packed with tourists too, so you could enjoy peace and quiet.

The hotel is nicely located, a few minutes walk from the metro and from the canal city mall. The environment is clean and modern, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is good and complete. The main reason why I’m giving this hotel 7/10 instead of 8/10 is because of the really bad smell of the bathroom, even though it was properly cleaned, it still really smelled bad. They really need to do something about that. The room is okay, small as expected in almost all of Japan, not much to do about that.
