I like Megu Fuji not only because it is so near Mount Fuji Station, the place was designed so well that solo travellers or family alike will feel at home. I love the small details in the room that makes it very practical, including the very useful guidebook. Learn from my mistake, if you come on a day when the mountain is visible, go straight up to the roof terrace and take all the photos you need (they have a spectacular view of the mountain). The weather may change very fast and soon the clouds may cover the view. Carpe Diem!
