Service is exceed expectation. Dinner set is remarkable, a little bit modernized western dinner, but it's good!. Rooftop onset is the best way to see Fujisan. Wine lounge is good for hangout and Drum show is excellent.

I don't often spend big on accommodation because it does nothing for me and I could care less for luxury. As long as the place is practical, clean and in a safe neighborhood I am cool. I booked a comfort room here this time because I could not find anything else. Absolutely worth it. The staff is definitely what takes this place from an 8 to a 10. Do not miss the drum performance!

Good level of service, excellent food (incredibly diverse breakfast buffet, excellent dinners), and amazing facilities (qualitative onsens, kimono rental, tea house included in the price. Also possible to go to a spa with facials or massages with an extra). Beautiful view on Mount Fuji.

Generally if you are not used to japanese style Hotel / hospitality, you have to be open minded and embrace the experience. It may not be for everyone, but we thoroughly enjoyed it First tip, keep to the hotels schedule! The welcome is very overwhelming for western culture but incredibly friendly. The rooms (we had the smallest one) were spacious and very comfortable. You are also given the hotel wear, which you can (and many do) wear at all times including dinner. Its super comfortable. The roof top hot bath has an incredible view of Mt. Fuji, but it's time seperated by gender (afternoon male, morning female only). Dinnertime is set, you have the choice between 6pm or 6:30 pm. Dinner was also a preset menu - no choices - and japanese cuisine. you can give dietary requirements 3 days in advance or before. The public spa is also strictly seperated by gender. But very nice. Breakfast has some wester options and was a buffet with many options. The gardens are much larger than expected and very beautiful and relaxing. Its a must visit. We would recommend a 2 to 3 day stay for inexperienced or forst timers to this style hotel.
