Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. There was a good balance of many Japanese delicacies and some more well-known foods to the Western palate. A very enjoyable spread and we liked the fact that everyone was invited to wear the traditional Japanese clothes that were provided to dinner. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. The shuttle bus to and from the train station was easy to arrange at the tourist office and was a big reason for choosing this accommodation. We were able to keep our bags at the hotel both before check-in and after check-out. We enjoyed the view of Mount Fuji from our room. Just 5 mins walk from the hotel you can get an even more amazing view by following the side of the lake.

The staff were exceptional, the facilities and the room were clean, cosy and comfortable. The food was great and service was beyond our expectations. The onsen was particularly enjoyable. We loved our stay here.

They are thoughtful and considerate despite we were very late due to unexpected change in our schedule on our check in date. Communications were done on the booking app and it was fast and assuring replies from them.

Really nice hotel, very helpful and kind staff, good location and beautiful view over mount Fuji & the lake. The onsen was very nice after a day of sightseeing.
