I recently stayed at this hotel, which is rated as a 5-star property, and while there were some positive aspects, there were several areas where it fell short of expectations for a hotel of this standard. Firstly, the cleanliness of the room did not quite meet the level expected from a 5-star hotel. Some surfaces felt dusty, and overall housekeeping could be improved. Additionally, the TV was outdated, with limited channels and poor picture quality, which made in-room entertainment disappointing. There was no bathrobe provided, and the toiletries appeared to be previously used or not replenished properly, which was quite surprising and unacceptable at this level of accommodation. The toilet flush button was extremely hard to press, making it inconvenient. The bathtub was quite small, and the shower hose was fixed, which made taking a proper shower uncomfortable and difficult. Furthermore, the elevators were very open, and more concerning was the fact that anyone could access the floors without any security measures in place. This raises safety concerns, as 5-star hotels are generally expected to have better guest security and access control. In summary, while the staff were courteous and the location convenient, the overall experience did not reflect what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. A few upgrades and improvements in cleanliness, amenities, and security would make a significant difference.
