The hotel was fine to stay on a budget and if you are a football fan, it is very close to Tokyo FC stadium and the University for those who may have a child who is going to study there. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. The room was clean and did not smell of smoke but you could see that it had been a smoking room before. For breakfast you get a voucher to go to a hotel down the road, please note that breakfast in Japan is not like an English or European equivalent.

Location is a little bit of a walk from Keio Tobitakyu Line. Close to Musashinonomori Park, Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium, convenience stores and a smattering of eateries, particularly on the walk between the hotel and the train station. It's a pretty quiet and safe area, very flat and great for cycling, running, even swimming with the public facilities nearby. My bathroom had a little rubber ducky and I took it home for a second chance at life (there is a sign in Japanese that says you may take it with you) - cute touch. AC worked well, as did the blackout curtains and hot water/shower water pressure.
