We liked the accommodation so much that we announced we would be staying there again next year. Next time for two weeks instead of just one week this year! Luca and his dad were waiting for us when we arrived. We were always in contact via booking.com during the journey and were able to keep our host up to date about the arrival time. After our arrival we got an aperitif as well as bruschetta with tomatoes from our own garden and were able to relax on the terrace. It was perfect after 15 hours of driving... The hosts live on the property, but we only met Luca and his dad once at the pool or in the morning watering the flowers. The communication in English worked perfectly! The apartment had everything you would need for a stay in Italy! It was nice that the whole apartment smelled like my nonna's home, through the wooden doors. There was also a fan in the bedroom, which definitely made the temperatures perfectly bearable! The outdoor area also left us speechless. The whole village of Massarella is so incredibly pretty and, above all, beautifully situated! From the pool you have an amazing view over the surrounding area, you don't hear any traffic noise and only the cicadas are chirping. Exactly what we were looking for and also found there. All the places we wanted to visit (Volterra, Lucca, Marina di Massa, Florence) could be reached within an hour. All in all the stay was perfect! And I don't really think it's a bad thing for a holiday in Tuscany if the WiFi doesn't work 100 percent like at home. In return, you might end the evening a little longer with a glass of wine on the terrace ;)

The hosts were really kind. They welcomed us with a drink and some food. Great communication. The apartment was situated on a beautiful location, nice views and swimmingpool, close to Lucca and the beach. We would definitely recommend this stay.

Very nice and friendly stuff. Very good attitude. Swimming pool is also available. Nice apartments with everything you need to live few days.
