The property is lovely. Old and nicely maintained and beautifullly decorated. The pool overlooking the fields was a surprising but welcome addition in the summer heat. We also opted for dinner at home on the day of arrival. Jean Charles and his wife prepared us (a family of 4) a lovely 3 course dinner that we will never forget, especially the pannacotta. We will come back!

We loved the building, it’s full of character. The rooms are tastefully decorated & comfortable. The setting on the banks of the Dordogne was peaceful & beautiful. The owner Jean-Charles was so helpful. As the property is a bit remote so we emailed ahead for restaurant recommendations, which were returned promptly. That was a big help as we arrived quite late.

Jean Paul is amazing as a host - we could not have enjoyed our stay more. The hotel and the location is superb and we intend to return. We stayed because of the reviews and we join the other guests who loved both Jean Paul and the ambience of the hotel and surroundings. Just immaculate in every way!
