The Old Orchard Studio is a perfect spot for people like me looking for a getaway from a big city close to nature. As a solo traveller it was reassuring that my host lived next door (in case something goes wrong) but still enjoyed the privacy of a studio and a separate small garden. The location was perfect to plan walks and hikes. I could get to the Froggatt Edge circular trail in 15 minutes on foot. The river is also very close where, after a long walk, I could dip my tired feet into the icecold water. The studio was spacious, clean and well equipped. I had all the utensils and kitchenware to make mealpreps for the hikes.

The village location was lovely with trees and birds around, and walks from the door. Accessibility to other walks in the area was good. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and it was nice to have an area of garden to use in the evening. The pack of luxury biscuits was very welcome! And kind to leave milk in the fridge and some coffee and tea bags..

Excellent location for our purposes - walking, swimming and rock climbing. Lots of other things to see and do in the area. Friendly helpful hosts and a spacious room with en-suite and well equipped kitchenette.
