The host was lovely and accommodating and the house is superbly plush and clean. Having breakfast in the conservatory was a great start to the day as well. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, we are keen to come back!

Our hostess Sarah was wonderful, and soo helpful. The house is comfortable and her breakfasts were very tasty and plentiful.

Stroud House is in an excellent location; very quiet but easy access to Freshwater and Freshwater Bay, with good local pubs nearby. Breakfast was perfect with everything you could possibly want; fresh orange juice, filter coffee, several choices of delicious fruit, for example, stewed rhubarb cooked with orange juice and ginger. This was followed by a cooked breakfast of choice, perfectly made, accompanied by toast and homemade marmalade or jam. Sarah is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful, and a mine of local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble. We will return for sure! (Written by Jill, Peter's wife)
