Absolutely fabulous location high above and overlooking the Douro, superb pool, lovely rooms, fantastic home cooked dinner, motorbikes safely tucked away inside the gates.

Location, secure parking, the room was amazing the bathroom was the size of some hotel rooms we have stayed in. The whole place was clean, and smelled gorgeous. The owner and daughter could not do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Dinner and breakfast were lovely. The ambience was beautiful and had views that took your breath away. This place is a must visit!

Incredible view over the valley and the river! Also, Manuelas cooking was excellent. The Spa was also fully functional except for the Turkish bath and very nice.
