We were a group of two couples, friends for decades returning from a long distance cycle tour through the Netherlands, Belgium and France. Two of us previously visited Freinsheim and are so fond of it. The Altstadthof is an accomplished hotel as a whole unit, starting with the warm welcome by Birte, perfectly appointed rooms featuring comfy beds, large bathrooms with plenty of space to turn around, showers that really provide enough hot and cold water. Finally the breakfast... oh what a delight. Thank you, dear staff members for making us feel very very comfortable.

We liked the very central location, very clean room, mini bar, air conditioning, the size of the room. We received a surprise at the checkout, which was a very lovely gesture that definitely adds the value and makes one feel appreciated. We asked for an iron to iron my dress, the staff was very helpful and gave it to us very quickly. Hair dryer and shower gel are provided. Since we are very spontaneous and very frequent travelers, we appreciate toiletries very much!

Love the place, staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room were really clean and spacious, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice with local produce.

Excellent location right in the center of town! Walking distance to everything. Loved the room and views. Air conditioning was amazing.
