The place is super cozy and even though the location is a bit far from the city. The walk is beautiful. The place is surrounded by hills and trees, and I think that adds the charm to the place. The hosts were very sweet and nice. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

This was a great base for my holiday exploring Freiburg and the Black Forest. The hotel was cosy and rustic and the owner was very welcoming. I stayed in the single room which contained a sink and a kettle. There were 3 shared shower/toilet rooms that were always clean and available when I needed them. The tram stop is just outside the hotel and it is only a 10 minute journey into Freiburg - very convenient. Hotel is in a lovely, peaceful location.

The place was perfect for our needs having arrived by car. Easy to find and free car parking at the back or immediately outside. A very quirky family run hotel that was probably exactly the same about 100 years ago. It was significantly cheaper than those in town with a regular tram from right outside.
